MID-AUTUMM
FOR HIGHLAND CHILDREN 2024
In many places, Mid-Autumn Festival is a time filled with laughter, lanterns, and joyful moments shared among families. But in Ra Ê Village (A Ting Commune, Dong Giang District, Quang Nam) - home to over 100 low-income Co Tu households - such celebrations are often out of reach for many children.
With the hope of bringing light and joy to this remote community, The Blue Warriors partnered with Hoa Vang Volunteer Club to organize Mid-Autumn for Highland Children 2024. Within just ten days of fundraising, from August 27 to September 6, the program came to life -driven by the generosity and compassion of donors who believed that every child deserves a moment of happiness.
Where Compassion Becomes Impact
On September 7, 2024, that hope became reality. The village was filled with laughter as 200 gift sets were handed out, 300 lanterns lit up the night, and 300 mooncakes and meals were shared among the children. At the same time, 108 households received essential support - helping ease the burdens of daily life.
With a total program value of 32,411,000 VND, the initiative delivered more than just material support. It brought a sense of belonging, warmth, and connection to children who rarely have the opportunity to celebrate such moments.
For one night, the village was no longer defined by hardship - but by light, laughter, and the simple joy of being a child.
