Where Compassion Becomes Impact
EMERGENCY FLOOD RELIEF PROGRAM 2025
TRA LENG - NAM TRA MY - DA NANG
In November 2025, following severe flooding in Central Vietnam, The Blue Warriors (TBW) returned to Tra Leng - one of the hardest-hit communities - on a mission to bring urgent support to families facing devastating loss.
The journey was organized in a very short time. With limited preparation, harsh weather, and challenging mountain terrain, reaching the village was far from easy. But this was when the community needed help the most - and turning back was never an option.
Traveled over 8 hours by road, a team of 20 volunteers carried essential supplies through difficult roads and unpredictable conditions, determined to reach every household in need.
On November 16, 2025, the program delivered food and daily necessities to 137 affected households, ensuring that even the most remote families received support during a critical time.
With 51,741,000 VND raised and 63,052,300 VND in total expenses, additional support of 11,311,300 VND from the Golden Heart Fund—Dr. Susan Huy Le’s family - helped extend the program’s reach and impact.
This journey was made possible by the trust and generosity of donors from both Vietnam and abroad, including Ms. Tram Nguyen, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha Thanh, and the family of Dr. Susan Huy Le, along with many other kind-hearted supporters.
Guided by the spirit of solidarity - “the good leaves protect the worn ones” - the program brought not only essential aid, but also encouragement and hope to those facing uncertainty.
The program successfully supported 137 households, but its impact goes beyond numbers. In the midst of hardship, it brought reassurance - that even in the most difficult moments, help will come, and no one is left behind.
And for those who made the journey, it became a powerful reminder:
sometimes, the hardest roads lead to the places that need us the most.
