 MEALS OF LOVE II 

QUANG NAM MOUNTAINOUS REGION GENERAL HOSPITAL 

 

On July 3, 2025, The Blue Warriors (TBW) continued its journey of compassion with Meals of Love II, bringing warm meals and heartfelt encouragement to patients and their families at the Quang Nam Northern Mountainous Region General Hospital.

Following the relief mission in Tra Cang, Nam Tra My, the team carried forward not only supplies, but also a deeper understanding of the daily struggles many families face—illness, financial pressure, and the quiet weight of uncertainty.

From 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, volunteers came together to prepare, cook, and carefully package each meal by hand. That day, 650 warm lunch meals were personally delivered—each one more than just food, but a small gesture of care, compassion, and connection.

For many patients at the hospital, these meals meant more than nourishment. Coming from extremely difficult backgrounds, many families rely on free meals to ease the financial burden during treatment - where even small daily expenses can become overwhelming.

With a total program value of 13,780,500 VND, the initiative was made possible through the dedication of volunteers and the generous support of donors who chose to stand alongside those in difficult times.

Beyond easing daily burdens, the program created moments of comfort for patients and their families - reminding them that someone still cares, even in the hardest moments.

At the same time, the journey brought volunteers closer to the heart of community service, strengthening a shared sense of responsibility, empathy, and human connection.

Sometimes, a simple meal can carry more than nourishment - it carries care, hope, and the feeling of being remembered.
