MEALS OF LOVE I 

DA NANG MENTAL HEALTH CARE CENTER

On the early morning of July 2, 2025, while the city was still quiet, a group of volunteers from The Blue Warriors (TBW) gathered with a shared purpose - to bring warmth, care, and human connection to patients at the Da Nang Mental Health Care Center.

From 5:00 AM to 12:30 PM, every step of the journey was done by hand - from preparing ingredients and cooking, to carefully packaging and delivering each meal. What began as a simple act of service quickly became something more meaningful.

That day, 380 lunch meals, complete with dessert and milk, were personally delivered to patients living at the center. With each meal came not only nourishment, but also a quiet message of care - reminding every individual that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.

With a total program cost of 13,459,000 VND, the initiative was made possible through the dedication of volunteers and the generous support of donors who believed in the power of small acts of kindness.

Beyond meeting essential needs, the program created a moment of warmth in what can often be a quiet and isolated environment. For the patients, it was a simple but meaningful midday filled with care and connection.

And for the volunteers, it was a deeply humbling experience - a reminder that sometimes, the smallest gestures can carry the greatest impact.
